From Streams to Screens: Streamlining Participatory Science & Water Quality Data

Explore how innovative data platforms are increasing accessibility of water quality monitoring and participatory science data. The Meadows Center for Water and the Environment will share how transitioning from a custom database to an Esri-based workflow has transformed their ability to collect, manage, and share critical aquatic data. Complementing this approach, Save the Sound will introduce QuickDrops, a dynamic platform that simplifies data uploading, visualization, figure creation, and seamless integration with the EPA’s Water Quality Exchange. Together, these organizations will demonstrate how streamlined, accessible technology turns volunteer-collected information into actionable community solutions.
