Estuarine Research on Narragansett Bay

Duration: 12:30 pm - 3:45 pm     |     Cost: $90     |     Limit: 28 participants

Join Save the Bay on the M/V Elizabeth Morris for a half day boating adventure in Narragansett Bay. Save the Bay, a leading local non-profit organization, uses a hands-on approach to teach the public about Narragansett Bay’s ecology. This trip will give you the opportunity to examine the microscopic world of plankton on the ‘plankton tv’, trawl for fish and invertebrates from the Bay bottom waters, and test the water quality. If you’ve ever been curious about how estuarine ecological research is conducted, this is the trip for you!

Please bring water and warm clothes, waterproof shoes are suggested. Bus transportation is included and the tour will return in time for participants to have dinner prior to the Keynote Presentation.
