If you are planning on attending the conference and have not yet registered, walk-in registrations will be available onsite. There will not be any registrations taken until the first day of conference.

Registration FAQ

Do I have to be a CERF member to register/attend?
No, you don't have to be a member; however, CERF members receive a discounted registration rate which more than covers the cost of membership. Plus you get a full year of CERF membership benefits! To take advantage of the discount, join or renew now if your membership has expired.

What is included with conference registration?
Conference registration includes access to all scientific programs, including the keynote address, plenary sessions, concurrent oral sessions, poster sessions, and any other conference activity that does not require a separate ticket. This includes access to the President's Opening Reception, Monday, and Wednesday Poster Session/Happy Hours, and the Closing Night Party. Registration includes daily coffee and snack breaks (Monday through Thursday) and heavy appetizers served at the Opening Reception, Poster Sessions and Closing Night Party. In addition, students and early career professionals have access to the Student and Early Career Networking Dinner on Monday evening.

What is the cancellation/refund policy?
All cancellations must be submitted in writing to CERF. A $75 processing fee will be charged for all cancellations received by  October 12, 2017. No refunds will be made for cancellations received after October 12, 2017. Substitute attendees will be permitted. No refunds can be made by CERF for lodging, airfare, abstract submission, or any other expenses related to attending the conference.

My employer cannot pay for my registration immediately. Can I be invoiced?
Yes. On the payment page select "Invoice Me."  You will receive an invoice that can be submitted for later payment. Payment must be received no later than 23 October or else you will be required to pay on site at the conference.  Please note, you must be a paid registrant to present an oral or poster presentation.

I need to obtain a travel visa.  How can I receive an official letter of invitation?
To request an Official Letter of Invitation, please email your full name, address, institution/affiliate name and email address to [email protected]. If you are making an oral or poster presentation, please include the title and presentation date/time for your abstract. Once processed, a signed letter will be emailed to you. If you need an original sent to you via post, please indicate so in your email request.

Can I bring a guest to the evening receptions (Opening Reception, Poster Session/Happy Hours, Closing Night Party)?
Attendees may purchase guest tickets for the evening receptions at the following prices: Opening Reception - $30; Poster Session/Happy Hours - $20 each; Closing Night Party - $40. A guest ticket for all four evening receptions can be purchased at a discount for $100. Guest tickets can be purchased when completing the registration form.
